Wise Connections encourages all exhibitors to source giveaway items responsibly.
In planning your giveaways and sourcing suppliers,
Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) has exclusive rights to the sale of food and beverage. No exhibitor is permitted to distribute any item of food or beverage within the GCCEC, without prior written approval from GCCEC management.
Exhibitors can purchase food and beverage giveaways through GCCEC, including branded chocolates and cupcakes featuring your logo. The Centre can also provide service staff and F&B equipment to enhance your visitors’ experience.
Take it one step further with a food or drink activation – some colour and movement to attract more attention. GCCEC has popcorn carts and slushie machines, and can customise activations. To find out more, browse GCCEC lookbook and exhibitor services menu.
Trade promotions or competitions are regulated under the Queensland Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999. These are free entry draws conducted to promote goods or services. They do not require a licence.
Should an exhibitor want to run a competition, the exhibitor is responsible for obtaining any permits or approvals.
For further information about running a promotional competition, please refer to the Queensland Government’s regulations guide Competitions, Raffles and Bingo.
