Bump Out

All exhibitors must pack down displays Thursday 20 August, after the close of SPLASH! Trade Expo.

Thursday 22 August – Bump Out Day 1

Exhibitor Bump Out         
  • Exhibitors pack down displays, and remove all items from stand walls, stand shelving, and ExpoNet furniture.
  • All items hand carried out of hall through front doors.
17.30 - 24.00
  • Everyone in the expo hall must be wearing AS4602 Safety Vest or equivalent, and closed-toe shoes. 
  • People under the age of 15 years are not permitted in the expo hall.
  • Vests can be purchased from a vending machine located next to ground floor central elevators.
  • Forklifts cannot be used on the expo floor until all people are in hi-vis.
  • Loading dock doors cannot be opened until all people are in hi-vis
17.30 - 22.30Dismantle of stands, and Bump Out
  • All exhibits must be packed down, and goods prepared freight for collection.
  • Goods can be collected from loading dock.
  • Please advise Wise Connections if you require loading dock access.
  • Custom stands dismantle. If your stand builders require more time, please contact Wise Connections.
  • All stands in Central Rooms must be dismantled Thursday 20 August. There is no have access to these spaces on Friday.
  • All exhibitor freight from stands in Central Rooms must be removed from the halls to a Friday collection point. GEL Events and Wise Connections team members will advise exhibitors where to leave goods for Friday pick up.

All exhibitor and builder goods removed from GCCEC

You must leave your exhibit space clear of rubbish, litter, and stand materials when the expo concludes. Hard waste removal services are not offered at GCCEC. Excessive waste and bulk items that do not fit in the provided bins need to be taken offsite.

Exhibitors will be charged for the cost of a skip bin if hard waste is left onsite. Charges will apply for excessive soft waste such as vinyl decals or vinyl banners.                                                 

Any person onsite Thursday 20 August, after 17.30, and Friday 21 August, must
  • Have completed the GCCEC Contractors Induction.
  • Wear hi-vis vest or compliant clothing, and closed-toe shoes, and be suitable trained and/or qualified to undertake their work.
  • Be at least 15 years of age.

The site is considered a build zone, and all people are required to adhere to Safety First workplace practices. This includes following the directions of loading dock managers, security officers, and event managers.

For move out of large equipment, exhibitors were advised of their allocated loading dock time by email, 30 June. The email was sent from splash@wiseconnections.com.au, to your company’s nominated contact person.
