All electrical leads need to be tested and tagged in accordance with QLD Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 testing requirements, prior to use on-site. This includes laptop power cords and phone chargers.
All electrical products must meet AS/NZS3820.
The use of double adaptors is prohibited.
Onsite test & tag services will be provided by ExpoNet, within the expo hall.
This service can be pre-booked and paid for via your ExpoNet Online Exhibitor Kit.
Exhibitors and contractors are responsible for ensuring that electrical equipment and switches are safe and regularly inspected, tagged, and tested, and maintained in accordance with
GCCEC Management reserves the right to demand the removal of any electrical equipment it deems to be non-compliant or suspected of being non-compliant.
Further instructions critical to Electrical Safety:
It is a GCCEC requirement that any electrical or data cables, that change the floor levels across walkways, are covered with a cable management system. Cable trays, and taped down matting or carpet tiles, are suitable. Yellow and black hazard tape should alert people to the bump in the floor.
