Bump In

Arriving Onsite

Exhibitors must arrive at their allocated time to ensure this complex set up is efficient and safe.

Complete the GCCEC Event High Risk Contractor induction prior to travelling to the venue.

On arrival,

Have your phone ready
GCCEC Safety Assurance Team will ask you to scan a QR code, to then Sign In
GCCEC will issue wristbands
This process is repeated each day

Exhibitors have been advised what time they are scheduled to arrive onsite at the loading dock, and through the front expo hall doors, via email, sent 30 June, subject: Move in and move out schedule (MIMO) - SPLASH! Trade Expo

Site Safety

Any person onsite for Bump In must:

Be minimum 15 years of age.
Have completed the Event High Risk Contractor induction prior to arrival.
Wear hi-vis vest or compliant clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
Sign in on arrival.

At the conclusion of Bump In, the venue and the event organiser conduct a safety check of all stands. If an element of your stand is deemed unsafe, including product displays and interactive games, you will be contacted by Wise Connections and advised what actions are required.

The expo will not be allowed to open until safety has been signed off by the venue.

Waste

Rubbish must be removed progressively, using the clearly labelled waste and recycling bins.

Exhibitors are responsible for the removal and storage of all heavy packing crates and pallets prior to the show opening. These cannot be dumped for cleaners to remove in the aisles. Speak to GEL onsite team if you need to store crates/pallets onsite.

07.30 - 16.00	Exhibitor courier deliveries accepted

Tuesday 18 August – Bump In Day 3

06.00 - 20.00	Custom Stands - construction finalised* Water filling of spas & pools* *Exhibitors have been provided with their specific Move In and build times.
07.30 - 16.00	Exhibitor courier deliveries accepted
13.00 - 17.00	Standard / Shell Scheme Exhibitor Bump In Shell scheme booths will be built by ExpoNet, ready for exhibitors to set up from 1300.
13.00 - 15.00	Test & Tag of electrical leads will be available Any electrical lead being plugged into expo power points needs to have a valid tag attached.This includes laptop power cords and phone chargers.
16.00	The venue will conduct final stand safety check. If your stand is deemed unsafe, you will be phoned and asked to return to your stand to fix.
17.00	The venue will conduct a pre-expo clean of aisles and common spaces. We recommend bringing in your own cleaning gear to ensure your booth is presentable. Rubbish that does not fit in bins can be left in the aisles for cleaners to remove.
17.00 - 18.30	ALL-INdustry Welcome Event Please note, work will continue in the hall during this time, including forklift operations. There will be no access into the hall, for people who have consumed alcohol. Zero alcohol policy during bump in and bump out.
