Venue Induction

Updated 8 August 2024

All exhibitors and contractors must complete the GCCEC Contractors Induction prior to coming on site for bump in or bump out.

Allow 20 minutes to complete the induction. You will need to watch a 15-minute video, and complete a 3-minute multiple choice assessment.

GCCEC Safety team will ask to see your certificate when you arrive at the venue. You will not be able to enter the expo halls until you have completed the relevant induction.

Certificates can be added to your Apple or Android wallet, for easy access on arrival.

As a commitment to health and safety, GCCEC has instituted tailored induction processes for all individuals entering the premises during Bump In and Bump Out. This applies to all exhibitors, contractors, and visitors, ensuring they understand safety guidelines and procedures before work begins.

In order to ensure that all people onsite for bump in and bump out understand the minimum safety requirements for an expo construction zone, everyone is asked to undertake the Contractors Induction. Don’t worry, we won’t pass you a drill and ask you to build your own stand! But we do need to keep you safe if forklifts or power tools need to be used when you are in the hall.
