Floor Loading

All floor areas within the GCCEC have loading limits per square metre. The floor load allowances for GCCEC are as follows: 

• Loading Dock - 15 kPa (1500kg/m2) 
• Halls 1, 2, 3, 4 - 20 kPa (2000kg/m2) 
• Central Rooms - 15 kPa (1500kg/m2)

Any item weighing more than 1500kg must receive venue approval, including the loading / unloading method, prior to the item being brought onto the GCCEC loading dock.

Please note, stands numbered 1 – 7 are located in the Central Rooms. 
All others stands are located in Halls 1 – 4.

Loading Dock Doors - Dimensions 

The Loading Dock door dimensions into the Exhibition Halls are as follows: 

1. Exhibition Hall 1: 4000mm (4.0 metres) high x 5800mm (5.8 metres) wide
2. Exhibition Hall 2: 6300mm (6.3 metres) high x 5800mm (5.8 metres) wide
3. Exhibition Hall 3: 6400mm (6.4 metres) high x 5900mm (5.9 metres) wide
4. Exhibition Hall 4: 4500mm (4.5 metres) high x 3800mm (3.8 metres) wide
   
   

Loading Dock Ramp - Dimensions

The Loading Dock access ramp is covered with a ceiling height of 4500mm (4.5 metres) high x 6000mm (6 metres) wide. Vehicles that exceed this height and width will need to contact Wise Connections to see if arrangements can be made to access the Loading Dock from an alternative direction.
