ExpoNet is the official electrical contractor for 2024 SPLASH! Trade Expo. Exhibitors and contractors are not permitted to access floor power pits.

Test & Tag 

All electrical leads need to be tested and tagged in accordance with Australian Standards prior to use on-site. This includes laptop power cords and phone chargers. 

All electrical products must meet AS/NZS3820. 

The use of double adaptors is prohibited.

On-site Test & Tag service 

On-site test & tag services will be provided by ExpoNet, within the expo hall. 

This service can be pre-booked and paid for via your ExpoNet online Exhibitor Kit. 

Tuesday 20 August, 9.00 pm – 5.00 pm 
Wednesday 21 August, 7.00 am – 9.00 am 

$6.50 + GST per item

Electrical Safety Regulations 

Exhibitors and contractors are responsible for ensuring that electrical equipment and switches are safe and regularly inspected, tagged, and tested, and maintained in accordance with 

GCCEC Management reserves the right to demand the removal of any electrical equipment it deems to be non-compliant or suspected of being non-compliant. 

Further instructions critical to Electrical Safety:

  • Faulty or damaged electrical equipment is to be tagged ‘Out of Service’ and removed from use. Do not use damaged electrical leads. 
  • Power tools are to be operated as per the manufacturers intended use specifications. 
  • The following power tools cannot be used inside the building without consultation with event organisers and GCCEC - drop saws and circular saws, routers, planes, jigsaws, angle grinders, brick and tile cutting saws.
