Expo stands numbered 1a, 1b, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, are located in the Central Rooms.
The ceiling height in this area is 3.7 metres.
Displays and custom stands must be planned to suit the ceiling height, allowing a 50cm clearance from the ceiling in case of sprinkler head.
The ceiling height in the rest of the expo hall is 10 metres.
The Loading Dock access ramp is covered with a ceiling height of 4500mm (4.5 metres) high.
Vehicles that exceed this height will need to contact Wise Connections to make arrangements to access the Loading Dock from an alternative direction.
Exhibitors must ensure that their custom stand design suits the height of the ceiling.
Plans for structures over 2.4 metres in height must be checked by GCCEC to ensure there is suitable clearance below the existing ceiling, and no fire exit signs are obstructed.
There must be clearance of at least 500mm from any sprinkler head.
To overcome the issue of fire exit signs being obstructed, an exhibitor can work with organisers to add temporary exit signs that indicate the closest emergency exit. Charges may apply.
